My likely to be Reno home!
Oddly, I didn't take any pictures myself when I was actually there looking at the place. I think I was too freaked out about the long term commitment I was getting into, but anyway, here are some hints from the world wide web:
here's my map
and here is what the river looks like, from right across the river from my place, about here. Maybe the webcam is broken, the pic hasn't changed for a couple of days -- I guess it's summer forever there! :)
more pix: my place is off to the right in all three of these pix. that's the Arlington Ave Bridge (from the map) on the pic, looking east.
That little area between Island Ave and the river hold 6-8 public tennis courts, two basketball courts, a kayak rental place, shade trees, grass and picnic tables, and a variable bunch of Reno deadbeats and unemployeds, who seem generally peaceable and are gone after dark.
rippin' cool, yes??
