It's rained here in Mill Valley for three out of the last four days. It's been pretty cool. I get to have my goal of living near running water a month earlier than planned, since a little creek appears in my sidewalk every time it rains any decent amount. For the last two days Mill Valley has looked like my ancestral homeland of the hills of Kentucky. You know there's mountains out there somewhere, but the cloud ceiling is about 120 feet so you haven't seen 'em for a few days. I'm going to Reno next week, and already I'm looking forward to the low humidity to dry out my soggy camper shell (and I'm really looking forward to having my own covered parking again). if it's nice tomorrow, it will be time for one of those epic Mt Tam waterfall hikes -- a thing that makes my short list of Things I Will Miss Most about Mill Valley.
